As a Payroll specialist, you will work with a team of financial specialists in BinckBank's Finance department Amsterdam. In this position you are responsible for correct and timely payroll processing for BinckBank NL and the BinckBank branches France and Belgium. You will be working in cooperating with HR to increase payroll service performance. For Belgium and France you will also be working with SD Worx as a payroll partner.

Responsibilities
As a payroll specialist you will be mainly responsible for:

  • Process monthly Dutch payroll with Afas
  • Control the connector between our global HR system Workday and Afas
  • Process salary journals
  • Maintain general ledger accounts
  • Setup monthly reconciliation files between Workday and Afas
  • Coordinate French and Belgium payroll administration
  • Maintain the employee data in pension and insurance portal
  • Participate in several HR and Finance projects related to payroll
  • Optimizing payroll processes
  • Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, company budget and expense
  • Responsible for fleet management

What we require
For the position of payroll specialist we value the following experience and competences:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred
  • Diploma for Payroll Administration (PDL)
  • Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required
  • Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws
  • Good understanding of the common fiscal procedures
  • Experience with AFAS Payroll
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications
  • Good multitasking and organizational skills
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision

5. Pre-employment screening
Een belangrijk onderdeel is een controle op jouw ID, diploma en aanvraag van een VOG. Dit is noodzakelijk om bij ons te mogen werken.
6. Contract
Als jouw pre-employment screening is gestart, sturen wij jouw contract en ons handboek op. We willen natuurlijk dat alles goed is vastgelegd en dat je weet wat je van ons kan verwachten.
