It is a challenge to offer our customers the best and consistent experience. As a customer journey expert at Binck, it will be your challenge to optimize our products and the customer journey.

At Binck, a Customer Journey Expert gathers and provides insights on how (potential) customers interact with the Binck brand and/or the Binck organization. The essence of the role is guiding stakeholders and empowering them to make decisions based on facts and data, balancing what's best for our customers and Binck. By analyzing all sorts of customer related activities this role will help decrease operational costs, increase customer loyalty and/or brand ambassadors, as well as drive change within our organization.

The Customer Journey Expert is the owner of Binck's customer journey framework and has the responsibility - together with the Data & Analytics department - to further develop and maintain our customer journey framework. To ensure all touchpoints are measurable and measure that which is valuable and insightful for our stakeholders, the Customer Journey Expert will work together with all sorts of stakeholders (from developers to the Board).

The responsibilities of the customer journey expert:

  • Structure customer data and insights for customer journeys
  • Define customer journey and touchpoint targets with management and stakeholders
  • Convert targets to metrics, and Identify and solve data gaps together Data & Analytics and ICT
  • Visualize and produce customer journey maps including touchpoints
  • Track customer journey and touchpoint performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Liaise with Data & Analytics to develop and maintain customer journey model/framework and process
  • Communicate customer journey developments to the organization
  • Collaborate with colleagues in self-steering teams with various roles and skills

Your profile:
Binck is looking for a customer journey expert with service design and analytical skills who can tell a story. The story should always be based on facts and data. This person loves to do research, can work independently, and is result-driven.

  • The customer is your first concern. You are driven and customer focused.
  • You love working within an international context.
  • You have iron-strong delivery skills and deliver quickly and accurately together with your team at every step of the process (from requirement gathering to project coordination and testing).
  • Thanks to your 'can-do' attitude you get things done accurately
  • You are interested in how our world (and customers) evolves, and translate this into the continuous improvement of the processes and communication channels. #innovation
  • You have relevant experience in Digital transformation and Digital channels.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
  • You hold a Master's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

This is a brand new position within Binck and requires further development, close collaboration with the Head of User Experience & Design, and most-likely will have to deal with slight skepticism. But with your can-do attitude and excellent communication skills this won't be a problem!
